Make Anniversaries Happen
A Little History
Seven years ago, this whole adventure began with a spark of inspiration and a notebook full of ideas. I didn’t have all the answers, just a drive to create meaningful moments and help others celebrate theirs. From late nights sketching event ideas to early mornings loading up the car with décor, this business has grown with every season, every client, every leap of faith.
Seven years may not seem like a long time, but in business years? It’s a milestone worth celebrating. It’s grit, evolution, reinvention—and gratitude for the people who believed in it from day one.
Let’s Make It Happen
Whether you’re marking your own business milestone, an anniversary with a partner, or even a personal growth moment, anniversaries deserve more than a passing mention. They’re natural pause points that let us look back—and look forward.
Here are a few ways to honor the moment:
- Tell the Story: Share then-vs-now photos, stats, or lessons learned. Invite others into your journey.
- Thank the People: Celebrate clients, collaborators, and loved ones who helped shape your success.
- Start a Tradition: Maybe it’s an annual toast, a team lunch, or a little gift you give yourself.
- Make It Visible: A reel, a short blog post (wink), or a printed timeline in your workspace—something tangible to reflect the path so far.
Big or small, anniversaries give you a reason to hit pause and recognize your own momentum.
What to Give
The traditional 7th anniversary gifts are wood and copper—two materials that are both strong and beautiful, durable and warm. They’re also incredibly versatile when it comes to gift giving.
For women, think of hand-carved wooden jewelry, a copper watering can for her beloved plants, or a keepsake box etched with a favorite quote.
For men, perhaps a sleek wood and copper valet tray, a pair of copper mule mugs, or even a handmade pen turned from reclaimed wood.
The magic is in choosing something that feels rooted—just like a good partnership or a steady business. Thoughtful, grounded, and meant to last.
The modern gift is a desk set—but that doesn’t have to mean an inbox tray and a stapler. For me, it’s more about the space where your ideas live. Maybe this is the year you reimagine your home office. Maybe you build a better system, paint the walls, or carve out a workspace that fits both your professional focus and personal style.
To celebrate my company’s 7th Anniversary, I’m drawing from both modern and traditional gifts—with new wooden frames for my diplomas, a custom company logo sign crafted from wood and copper, and a refreshed home office stocked with some fun new supplies. With all these upgrades, I know this year, I’ll Make It Happen.
